    - Leeds United have reached an agreement to sign Spanish defender Diego Llorente from Real Sociedad, the general of the La Liga club, as quoted by Reuters on Wednesday. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed, but British media reported that Leeds would provide £ 20million (£ 20m) for the 27-year-old center-back. "Real Sociedad and Leeds United have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of Diego Llorente. The final agreement will depend on the player's medical tests," the club said in a statement. "Real Sociedad would like to express their gratitude and sadness to Diego for three years being part of our club and wish him all the best for this new chapter in his career." Llorente started his professional career with Real Madrid, but failed to make it to the first team and then joined Sociedad in 2017. He made 30 appearances for Imanol Alguacil's side last season when they finished sixth and reached the final of the Copa del Rey. Leeds are looking to strengthen their defense after conceding seven goals in their opening two Premier League matches.
