If you’ve landed on this page, chances are you’ve forgotten your WordPress password, and you’re looking for a way to recover your WordPress password.
The easiest way to reset your WordPress password is to reset it by email.

However, this will only work if you remember your username and/or email address with which you installed WordPress.

Navigate to the folder: wp-content/themes/your-theme/functions.php

Now add this code after the first <?php’ tag: <em>wp_set_password(‘password’,1);</em>
‘password’ is then your new password, and ‘1’ can be changed to the user-id of your user. You can find these via the PHPMyadmin.
